This is my thirteenth year to teach first grade! I love it and can't imagine teaching any other age. That's not to say that this time of year {every year} I question my job choice. It's exhaustion like none other!!! I come from a family of educators and married into a family of educators. My mom is a former teacher-now administrator, my sister is a former second grade teacher, one grandmother was a fourth grade teacher, the other grandmother is a retired school secretary. I married a high school football coach who is now a high school assistant principal. His mom is a retired second grade teacher, his sister is a current second grade teacher-and get this-my father in law is the Superintendent of our parish! Yes, I said parish-so now you know I live in Louisiana.
My husband and I have have three little girls-Molly, our oldest, it eight. Our twins, Lanie and Lindy, are five. There is never a dull moment at this house. We just got a brand new GSP puppy, Rudy, and he has completed our family. I am very blessed! Thank you for checking out my blog.
